Introduction to Single Head Electric Heating Tube

Single head electric heating tube (bullet tube type electric heating tube, single end electric heating tube) is made of a metal tube as the shell, filled with high resistance electric heating alloy wire as the heating material, and filled and compacted around the electric heating wire with good insulation performance, using high-purity magnesium oxide with high thermal conductivity as the filling material. The core heating part is nickel chromium heat-resistant alloy wire, which is wrapped around a magnesium oxide core rod with excellent insulation and thermal conductivity. After filling magnesium oxide powder as insulation material between the heating wire and the shell, the air inside is compressed and discharged by a machine, thus making it a whole.


Single head electric heating tubes have the characteristics of small size, high power, high thermal efficiency, and fast heat dissipation. Usually used in conjunction with thermocouples, it can achieve excellent heating and temperature control effects.

Performance requirements for single head electric heating tubes:

  1. Heating time: Under the test voltage, the time for the component to rise from the ambient temperature to the test temperature should not exceed 15 minutes. 

  2. Rated power deviation


Application scope: Stamping molds, injection molds, extrusion molds, hot cutting knives, packaging machinery, rubber molding molds, melt blown molds, pharmaceutical machinery, uniform heating platforms, hot pressing molding machinery, semiconductor processing, liquid heating, etc.


Single head electric heating tubes are commonly used for embedded mold heating. Multiple single head electric heating tubes are horizontally embedded in a metal plate, and the power distribution is calculated to adjust the power of each single head heating tube, so that the surface of the metal module reaches a uniform temperature. The uniform heating platform is widely used in target material heating, precious metal stripping and recycling, mold pre execution, etc.
